Tools, Strategies, Policies, and Incentives for Historic Preservation in Phoenix
In 2021, HSI conducted a study on the economic impact of historic districts in Phoenix for the City’s Historic Preservation Office. That study outlined the ways in which historic districts in Phoenix contribute to the economic vitality of the city. This report presents practical ways forward, outlining a suite of challenges facing historic preservation in Phoenix, followed by recommendations for how to address them.
